Sgt. Washington

On our way to Illinois last week, Jackson and I had the pleasure of sitting next to Stg. James Washington of the National Guard. He was on our flight from Myrtle Beach to Atlanta, on his way back to Afghanistan. We had the most memorable conversation and Jackson was just fascinated with him and his uniform (Jackson loves Velcro right now). Sgt. Washington lives in Pawleys Island with his wife and two daughters and is honestly one of the nicest people I have had the pleasure of meeting. We hope to keep in touch with him and have his family over for dinner when he gets back to the States in November. If you are reading this, Sgt. Washington, we are praying for you and all of our troops. Come home safe and sound in November!
