Wooden Boat Show

Friday, October 16, 2009
Today, Jackson is two months old. He has grown and changed so much in such a short time. Every day is a new adventure. He is not sleeping through the night just yet, but there have been a couple of nights that he slept longer than normal. He is still nursing, but he does very well taking a bottle from Daddy during the day. We are not sure exactly how much he weighs. We have tried to use our scale at home, weighing ourselves with and without him to try to figure it out, but it comes out different every time. So if we average it all together, we think he weighs somewhere between 13 ½ and 14 ½ lbs. He’s a big boy!
Hello, everyone!

Jackson and Gigi
Cowboy Jackson
It was very exciting when Jackson’s Aunt Tami came all the way from Illinois to spend a few days with us. We had such a nice visit with Tami and she was able to spend lots of quality time with Jackson.

My 1st Cub’s hatKaren went back to work on October 5. We are so fortunate that Jason’s schedule allows him to be with Jackson all day. They are having such a good time together, doing “man stuff” until Karen returns home in the afternoon.

I love my bootsOur video camera arrived this past weekend and we have been making tons of Jackson movies. We can’t wait to share them with everyone. He is quite the character and likes to show off for the camera. I've posted a couple of the videos here, but they are really dark. I haven't figured out how to fix the problem yet, but here they are...
Jackson will be 2 months old on Friday. It’s hard to believe! He changes so much everyday. Lately, he has been “talking” up a storm. It sounds more like “ohhhh” and “ahhhh,” but he seems to know what he is saying. He is holding up his head much better and is getting closer to turning over every day. He is discovering his hands, although he hasn’t quite figured out how to use them. He is very curious and seems to be taking in his surroundings all of the time. It is amazing how much he is learning. We are very proud of our little man!
