Well, not actually crawling, but he’s definitely headed in that direction. Jackson has mastered the art of rolling over and has really started to enjoy being on his stomach. He is trying to figure out how to get both his arms and knees under him at the same time (right now he can do one or the other). I have a feeling it won’t be long!

IL - Tuesday 1/5

Tuesday brought our time in Illinois to an end. We spent the morning packing and spending a few more precious moments with Shirley before heading to the airport.

IL - Monday 1/4

Monday was a great day. We relaxed around the house for most of the morning, then Jackson’s Aunt Tami came to visit him at lunch. Marcia Winter and Kathy Harroun also came to visit. We had a great time catching up with them. That afternoon, Jason picked up his nephews, Carson and Drew, at school and brought them over to the house for the afternoon. Later on, we went to visit the Fuhrs and then over to Tami and Troy’s for Happy Joe’s Pizza (Jason’s favorite).

IL - Sunday 1/3

After church on Sunday, Jason’s Aunt Barbara and her family came over to have dinner with us. It was so nice to visit with Barbara, Darryl, David, and Missy. We also enjoyed spending time with the usual suspects. Jason had a show at Riscky’s that night. He really appreciates all of the friends and family that came out to support him. It was a great show and a lot of fun.

IL - Saturday 1/2

Saturday was a busy day! We went over to Jason’s Aunt Linda’s house for the big Parchert Christmas get-together. All of Jason’s aunts, uncles, and cousins were there and everyone was finally able to meet Jackson. It was such a pleasure spending time with everyone.

That night, Grandma Shirley took care of Jackson so that we could go up to Riscky’s to meet up with Jason’s cousins and a couple of friends. We had a great time and Jackson was sleeping when we got home.
